• Tallow is shelf-stable but should be kept in a cool, dry place.

• Store in a dark cabinet to extend its freshness for up to a year.

• Avoid refrigeration—tallow hardens when cold but melts beautifully at room temperature.

• Because this is an all-natural product, we always recommend a patch test before use to ensure compatibility with your skin.

• Gritty Tallow? If it experiences extreme temperature changes - the tallow and carrier oils can separate. It’s still just fine to use! Either warm up between your fingers to melt before applying - or you can melt the whole jar on low heat in a double broiler or microwave, let cool to soft and whip again or use unwhipped!
